If you are building a Custom Home - Your general contractor will require you to make timely choices or your construction will experience delays. Delays and changes can be expensive. Making choices (agreeing on choices) can be difficult and very time consuming.
Making the right choices the first time is beneficial. And, making decisions early on takes a lot of the stress involved in building a home away. When your home is finished it should reflect you and feel like home from the moment you walk in. It should create a warm and inviting space that reflects your style, not your builder’s. There should be comfortable spaces to retreat to.
As soon as your plans are completed Pringle & Associates can begin to create your style. We’ll do this by getting to know you, your interests, items of inspiration, family heirlooms, antiques … basically, we’ll find the things you love. From there we will help you make, the often times, difficult decisions on exterior materials and colors. Followed by electrical, plumbing, interior doors & windows, kitchen and bathroom design. Then, moving forward to interior décor choices such as stains, paints, flooring, carpeting, lighting and plumbing fixtures, door hardware and more. You won’t make last minute decisions when the contractor or builder tells you it’s time. We’ll work together to create The Big Picture Design™ - the house will flow from outside in. Your contractor or builder will have the decisions ahead of schedule so he/she knows exactly what is being created and the end result expectations.
If you are purchasing a spec house or building from a model, the choices offered by your builder may be less, but the process is similar. Making your choices of options up front is extremely important. Changes to a model home plan can be very costly. Understanding your choices, and options, meeting allowances for lighting, plumbing fixtures, etc. can be confusing. Coordination and follow through on those choices is required and we are here to help.
