My background and education is in real estate development. I have worked for over 20 years in residential and commercial development. I enjoy the planning process and the creative spirit found along the way. For the past four years, I have been building Timber Frame homes in Western North Carolina with my husband, Neal.

One of the homes was awarded three Residential Design Build Magazine’s, 2007 Excellence Awards for Best Custom Home, Best Timber Frame Home and Best Vacation Home, in conjunction with Goshen Timber Frames.

Taking a project from a blueprint drawing (your dream) … and working towards that final goal (completion) … plus making it an enjoyable process … is really my specialty. I help couples and business partners learn the art of compromise, builders and contractors learn that it’s not just about what they love, construction, but making choices wisely on items that count to a buyer.

I have an eye for color (white is not in my vocabulary, unless we punch it with colorful accessories). I love simplicity in style. Therefore Mission, Craftsman, Rustic, Cottage, Shabby Chic, Contemporary or a custom mix is where my talent lies.
